I'm sitting here. On the couch. I've been sitting here all night, trying not to move much. I think Amelia is head down because today when she had the hiccups I felt them pretty far down. For this reason, I also think she's got her head pressing on my sciatica nerve. It's not a fun feeling. But, usually by the end of the week I feel pretty beat up. A good night of doing absolutely nothing seems to help!
I don't have much to say.
Our 7lb long-haired chihuahua, Tess, has found a new favorite spot on the couch while we're at work. She perches herself on the top of a couch cushion by the window, thereby leaving a Tess-shaped dent in the cushion and Tess hair clumped on the cushion. When we are home, I don't let her on the couch at all which I think she's having a hard time grasping. She was allowed to be on our old couch all she wanted, so the new rules are probably confusing. Although, she never lets us see her perched on top of the couch cushion. Smart dog. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out a way to keep her off the top of the couch when we aren't at home. Any ideas?
Happy weekend!!

Laundry baskets on the seat cushions should do the trick.
No idea on the couch thing...BUT..when you have the baby and are still at the hospital have D take one of Amelia's blankets (or onesie) home to Tess. She'll get a chance to smell it and get used to it before you bring Amelia home.
It's so hard to train pets and I'm not a good one to ask. Sorry I can't offer some sort of advice.
I hope you're feeling better. Soon you'll have that sweet bundle in your loving arms.
Hey, thanks for the pumpkin and cake mix idea! I did not know this! I would love to try it this week. What size pumpkin can do I use for this recipe?
Blessings - Debbie
